Spirit of Nkwe! Meets SDG Acceleration
As the UN Eswatini Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) 2026–2030 came into effect on 1 January 2026, and as the world enters the final and most decisive years of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, this moment offers an important opportunity to reflect on progress achieved to date while looking ahead to the scale, speed, and ambition required to deliver on the Sustainable Development Goals in the years remaining.
Under the leadership of His Majesty’s Government, the UNSDCF 2021–2025 guided collective United Nations support to national priorities, strengthening institutions, expanding access to essential services, advancing inclusive economic opportunities, protecting the environment, and reinforcing resilience to social, economic, and climate shocks. These achievements were delivered in a period marked by profound global uncertainty, shifting development financing landscapes, and increasing pressures on countries and communities.
This video highlights how sustained partnerships between the Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini, the United Nations system, development partners, the private sector, civil society, and communities translated shared commitments into tangible results for Emaswati. The progress showcased here lays a strong foundation for the implementation of the UNSDCF 2026–2030, as collective efforts now shift toward acceleration, scale, and impact in support of Eswatini’s national development ambitions and the Sustainable Development Goals.
